Balmain Regatta – Sunday 25th of October 2026

First held in 1849 the Balmain Regatta is Australia’s oldest sailing regatta and is a celebration of Balmain’s place in the rich maritime history of Sydney Harbour.

This year the regattga was held in perfect sailing conditions allowing for some great racing on the water and lots of fun on the dock and in the club. It was an amazing success with a big thank you to all the volunteers who made the event happen.

To relive all the action, come and check out our awesome photo gallery here and race results here.
