Temporary Membership - SailPass
SailPass is a means by which a person who is not a Sailing Member of an affiliated club can go sailing at BSC by offering temporary membership or, ‘day-pass’.
If you are crewing in a race run by the BSC and not a current financial member of a sailing club, we encourage you to register for SailPASS.
You will receive an Australian Sailing (AS) number and Personal Injury Insurance from Australian Sailing for the days that you nominate.
It is important that you register with the club who is hosting a race, so they have your contact details.
Check if you have a current AS Number
There are two SailPASS options
-
SailPASS Pricing – new & casual sailors
SailPASS is limited to 12 passes per season
Passes 1 thru 6 cost $15.00 each and passes 7 thru 12 are $30.00 each.
-
Sail PASS to Balmain Sailing School Graduates
SailPASS is limited to 12 passes per season
Passes 1 thru 6 are free and passes 7 thru 12 are $30.00 each.
Passes must be used within 6 months of course completion.
The fees paid for SailPASS can be offset against full membership fees (e.g. if a person pays for 4 sail passes costing $60.00 and decides to join the Balmain Sailing Club, $60.00 will be deducted from the annual fee).
If you are registering for a day SailPASS for the first time and don’t have an Australian Sailing number, register and select your racing dates: BSC SailPASS Registration
If you have an AS number or you have previously registered for a day SailPASS and would like to add additional dates or change previously selected dates: Renew BSC SailPASS
